Brian Clarhaut

Brian Clarhaut is in his first season as an assistant on the Stevens Institute of Technology men’s soccer coaching staff in 2010. The Medford, N.J. native will help Head Coach Tim O’Donohue in all aspects of the program.

Ranked as a top-100 player in the country in 2003, Clarhaut earned an invite to the Adidas ESP Invite and also had a fantastic high school and collegiate playing career.  He was a member of the 23-0-1 Shawnee High School squad that won the 2003 New Jersey state title and finished as the second-ranked team in the nation according to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).  As a member of Bishop Eustace Prep from 2000-2002, he set the single season assists record in 2002 with (27), was an all-conference performer (2002), and an All-New Jersey Top-11 Player (2002).

Clarhaut went on to play NCAA Division I soccer at St. Peter’s College from 2004-2006 before suffering an almost career ending injury against the University of Connecticut. While there, he was a member of the All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Academic team and played on two conference finalist squads.

His club playing experience includes Philadelphia FC Coppa and FC Hawks. He played in the New Jersey Olympic Development program from 1999-2003 and the Region 1 ODP from 1999-2001.

A USSSF National Licensed Coach, Clarhaut currently resides in Medford, N.J.
