Rhett Goldsmith

Entering his fourth season with the men's soccer program, Rhett Goldsmith has been an integral part of the development of the Stevens Institute of Technology men’s soccer coaching staff.  During that time, Goldsmith has worked with head coach Tim O’Donohue to lead the Ducks to a trio of NCAA Division III Championship appearances and a combined record of 56-8-5, which translates to a .848 win-percentage.

As an assistant coach, Goldsmith has been responsible for recruiting and scouting opponents as well as planning and implementing practice sessions.

Prior to joining the Stevens coaching staff, Goldsmith served as the head men’s soccer coach at Albright College for two years.  He also founded the Evergreen Soccer Academy in Reading, Pa., where he was the technical director and head coach for six years.  The academy consisted of six boys’ and girls’ teams that developed and prepared players for the collegiate level.

Originally from York, England, Goldsmith attended the University of Louisville and York College before finding a home at Muhlenberg College, where he graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology.

Following graduation, Goldsmith began his collegiate coaching career as an assistant coach with both the men’s and women’s soccer teams at Muhlenberg.

Goldsmith, who resides in Hoboken, N.J., currently holds his NSCAA Advanced national certification and NSCAA state goalkeeping diploma (Level I).
