Samantha Lapszynski

Samantha Lapszynski joined the women's basketball coach staff as an assistant coach in August of 2019 after completing a stint as a graduate assistant on the staff of FDU-Florham.

Lapszynski brings Division I and international playing experience with her to Castle Point. As an undergraduate at Niagara University, Lapszynski averaged just under 12 points per game in her senior season to collect Second Team All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference honors. All totaled, she finished with 488 career point across 97 career games on Monteagle Ridge. A two-time MAAC All-Academic Team selection, Lapszynski still ranks among the program's all-time leaders with 74 career blocks and her 266 rebounds during the 2015-16 season ranks third in program history. 

After graduating summa cum laude from Niagara in 2016 with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Childhood Education, Lapszynski played professionally in Europe for three years, spending two years in Poland and one in Germany.

She earned her master's of arts degree from FDU-Florham's Peter Sammartino School of Education in May 2021.
