Arik Zeevy was named the head coach for women’s tennis programs in March of 2020. He is the first sport-specific, full-time head coach in program history. Zeevy previously served as an assistant for the tennis programs at Stevens from 2012-16 as well as for the 2019 season.

Zeevy has led the Ducks to back-to-back MAC Freedom Tournament and Regular Season Championships, with the Ducks earning four-straight NCAA Tournament Appearances, advancing to the second round in each season.

In his first full season as head coach, Zeevy led the Ducks to a 9-2 overall record and clinched a spot in the MAC Freedom Championship match.

Zeevy, a 2011 Stevens Institute of Technology graduate and a former all-conference performer for the Ducks, was recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) in 2015-16 as the National Assistant Coach of the Year for men’s tennis after helping guide the Ducks to a 19-8 overall record and second round appearance at the NCAA Championships.

Stevens Assistant Arik
  • Named the ITA National Assistant Coach of the Year in 2015-16
  • Was instrumental in helping senior doubles team Matt Heinrich and Ben Foran advance to the doubles national semifinal at the NCAA individual championships in 2016
  • Helped Stevens achieve numerous program firsts during his first stint on Castle Point, including coaching the first ITA Champions and All-Americans
  • Coached the women’s program to the Empire 8 Conference Championship match in three of his first four seasons on Castle Point
  • Helped the women's team win four titles at the MAC Individual Championships in the fall of 2019
  • Helped guide the men's program to four straight Empire 8 Championships from 2012-16
  • His first stint as assistant included a helped the men's program achieve a national team ranking and make an appearance in the NCAA Round of 16
  • Was very influential in bringing four consecutive nationally-ranked recruiting classes to Stevens on the men's side

  • Prior to returning to Stevens, Zeevy served as a tennis professional at the Cary Leeds Center for Tennis & Learning in the Bronx, New York, working under seven-time Grand Slam Doubles Champion, Liezel Huber.
