Annie DeLoid joined the women's volleyball staff as the program's first official full-time assistant in March 2019, following a stint as a graduate assistant coach for Averett University.
In her first season as a part of the Stevens' women's volleyball coaching staff, DeLoid helped Stevens win the MAC Freedom Regular Season and Tournament Titles and advance to the NCAA Regional Semifinals for the first time since 2016.
During DeLoid's time in Danville, the Cougars amassed 48 victories and made two trips to the USA South Conference tournament. During her two seasons with the Cougars, a pair of student-athletes were named American Volleyball Coaches Association All-Americans, two earned Google Cloud Academic All-America honors from the College Sports Information Directors of America and seven players received All-USA South recognition.
In addition to her duties with the women's volleyball team, DeLoid is also the 17 Red Head Coach as well as the Recruiting Director of the DIGS volleyball club. She has also coached elite camps at Endicott, Rutgers and Columbia University.
Before joining the sidelines at Averett, the Plymouth, Massachusetts native played four years at Framingham State University, totaling 461 kills and 179 blocks as a middle hitter. As a student-athlete, DeLoid made three trips to the NCAA Tournament and was named Second Team All-Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference, before spending one season as a volunteer assistant coach for the Rams in 2016.
DeLoid received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Framingham State in 2016 and completed her Master's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in leadership from Averett in August of 2019. She currently serves as a member of the AVCA Assistant Coaches Committee as a DIII representative.
