Marks, Ottinger, Kalbermatten lead Men's Soccer to 4-0 win over Centenary

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. - Senior Adam Kalbermatten (Allentown, Pa./Central Catholic) scored two goals while senior Josh Ottinger (Schnecksville, Pa./Parkland) and junior Brian Marks (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) had one goal and one assist each to lead the 12th-ranked Stevens men's soccer team to a 4-0 win over Centenary College on Wednesday.

Stevens, which won its seventh straight game, improves to 13-1-1 overall and 5-0 in Skyline Conference play.  Centenary drops to 1-10 overall and 1-2 in the conference.

Marks scored off an assist from junior midfielder Steve Liebezeit (Pompton Lakes, N.J./Pompton Lakes) to give Stevens a 1-0 halftime lead.  It was the third straight game in which Marks has scored and the second game in a row in which he scored the game's first goal.

Marks then fed Ottinger for a goal as the Ducks extended their lead in the second half.  Kalbermatten scored the final two goals with Ottinger assisting on the first and freshman midfielder Craig Moquin (Breinigsville, Pa./Parkland) recording his team-leading ninth assist on the second goal.

Stevens is back in action on Friday, January 15, when it hosts unbeaten and sixth-ranked Kings Point in a 7 p.m. Skyline Conference game at DeBaun Field.
