Women's Tennis falls to New Paltz, 6-3

HOBOKEN, N.J. – Freshman Dana Bacalla (Portland, Ore./Westview) went unbeaten in both singles and doubles play, but the Stevens women's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to SUNY New Paltz on Saturday afternoon.

Bacalla teamed with senior Kari Munger (Morristown, N.J./Newark Academy) to earn an 8-5 win at first doubles.  Bacalla also earned a victory at first singles, defeating Kerry Farrell 6-1, 6-0.

Munger secured the Ducks' only other singles win, defeating Maggie Fenton 6-4, 6-4 in the second-singles position.
