The Ducks closed out 2013 action December 4 when they earned their third-straight dual-match win, blanking Yeshiva, 51-0. Stevens has only allowed 16 points against during that span, and against Division III foes, the Ducks hold an overall advantage of 122-25 (plus-97).

Individually, junior 149-pounder Mike Polizzi finds himself ranked sixth nationally and has been a winner in his last 12 bouts.

The Ducks are the second-seeded team in the American College Division (ACD) of the 2014 Virginia Duals which will take place in Hampton, Virginia for the 34th year. Last season, the Ducks earned the ACD title at the event for the first time in program history.

Stevens will battle Anderson in its first dual of the tournament. Eight total teams will compete, with UNC Pembroke being the only team seeded ahead of the Ducks. Ferrum, Liberty, Limestone and the Apprentice School will also be competing for the ACD crown Friday and Saturday.
