HOBOKEN, N.J. (January 17, 2015) - The No. 7 Stevens Institute of Technology women's swimming team dropped a 191-71 dual-meet to No. 4 Johns Hopkins University Saturday at the DeBaun Aquatic Center in Hoboken, N.J.
The Ducks drop to 1-2 in dual-meets this season with both losses coming at the hands of nationally-ranked foes in JHU and Pomona-Pitzer. Stevens' win was against DI Saint Peter's.
The Ducks opened the meet with a third-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay, as the team of senior

Junior
Elizabeth Heinbach picked up a victory in the 1,000-yard freestyle, turning in an 11:02.16, and sophomore
Danielle Caruso placed second for the Ducks in the 200-yard freestyle, clocking a 2:00.14. Geyer ended up second thanks to a 1:09.26 in the 100-yard breaststroke, with Lawson doing the same in the 50-yard freestyle, touching the wall at 25.30.
After the intermission, Lawson and Caruso went second and third in the 100-yard freestyle on the back of times of 54.93 and 55.94, with Geyer nabbing a second-place-finish in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:28.74). Caruso's 5:16.92 was good for a win in the 500-yard freestyle, with the 400-yard freestyle relay team of Caruso, Lawson, senior
Nicole Miller and Rooker teaming for a second-place finish with a time of 3:43.54.
Prior to the meet, Stevens honored six seniors swimming competitively at the DeBaun Aquatic Center for the final time in their careers -
