Briana DeGraaf and junior
Nolie Prouty in the 33rd minute, Welch fired a one-timer to the right side of the cage for the score. The goal was Welch's seventh of the season, while the assist was Proutys team-leading ninth, and DeGraaf's first.
The score held-up through the remainder of the first half, and into the second before Rowan added some insurance with a goal in the 63rd minute. The 3-1 deficit proved to be too much from there, as the Ducks were unable to answer back before the final horn sounded.
