A three pointer from Coffey three minutes in gave the Ducks their first lead of the game, however Brooklyn responded with an 11-2 run to go up 17-9 with 15 minutes remaining. Brooklyn's lead rose to 19 during the eight minute mark before a pair of field goals from Barron in the closing minutes brought the Ducks to within 14 going into the break.
The Bulldogs maintained their double-digit lead in the early part of the second, however the Ducks chipped away before a 9-0 run, keyed by six from Barron, brought Stevens to within 11 midway through the half.
Cosgrove brought the Ducks back to within 11 with a layup after a small Brooklyn run, but it's as close as Stevens would get the rest of the night as the Bulldogs maintained at least a 14-point lead over the final eight minutes of regulation.
The Ducks will be back in action Saturday when they travel to the College of Staten Island for a 1 p.m. game.
