HOBOKEN, N.J. (April 15, 2015) – The No. 24 Stevens Institute of Technology men's tennis team continued its winning streak Wednesday with a 7-2 win over New York University.
The win moved Stevens to 12-5 while NYU fell to 3-5. With the victory, the Ducks have now avenged losses to four teams this season that beat them in 2014.

Matthew Heinrich and
Ben Foran took home the 8-3 win at No. 1 while freshman
Kyle Henry and sophomore
Michael Feldman pulled-off the 8-2 win at No. 2.
Sophomore
Charles Drake and freshman
Danny Polk wrapped-up the sweep with an 8-3 win at No. 3 for their fifth win of the season.
Freshman
David Schulz continued the momentum with a 6-3, 6-2 win at sixth singles, but NYU bounced back with the 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 3. Needing one more win to clinch, Heinrich polished-off a 6-3, 7-6 win at No. 7 to ensure the Stevens victory.
Polk and Drake won their matches at No. 5 and No. 4 respectively to wrap up the Stevens scoring.
The Ducks will resume Empire 8 Conference play Saturday when they travel to Hartwick College and Utica College for matches at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. respectively.
