HOBOKEN, N.J. (October 18, 2016) – After a 3-1 weekend, the Stevens Institute of Technology women's volleyball team heads to NYU for a non-conference match Wednesday.

First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Brooklyn Athletic Facility.
STEVENS INVITATIONAL REWIND
The Ducks picked three wins in four matches at their home tournament this weekend. The squad took home straight set wins over FDU-Florham and Haverford, and a four set win over Montclair State. The lone loss was a five set thriller to Springfield.
NYU REPORT
The Violets enter at 14-10, including a 1-6 mark in the tough University Athletic Association. Rayne Ells has 178 kills, leading five players with 100 kills or more.

The Ducks look to avenge a four set loss to the Violets last fall. In that match, seniors
Mary Tobin and
Christina Sciarra each recorded double-doubles.
INTO THE MIST
Freshman
Kristen Edmiston made the most of extended playing against FDU-Florham, recording a career-high three blocks and the first three aces of her career. The aces came on consecutive plays in the third set, leading the Ducks to victory.
ACES AWAY
Sophomore
Emily Piekarski served eight aces over the four matches this weekend, and is second on the club with 40 aces this season.
WELCOME BACK
Freshman
Casey King made her return to the starting lineup against Springfield, and recorded a career-best 18 kills and 17 digs. In three sets against Haverford, the rookie pounded home nine kills and hit a career-high three aces.
NEW STANDARD
Senior
Becca Youngman registered a four year best total of 12 digs against FDU-Florham, while recording no reception errors.
