A 7-0 Stevens spurt late in the half put the Ducks ahead once again at 40-31, but Staten Island responded with a 20-8 run to close the half and put the home team in a three-point hole heading into the break.
Stevens exploded out of the half with that 17-5 run keyed by 11 from Kilmchak to go up nine, before a three from Barron six minutes in extended the lead to 12. The Dolphins battled back to get to within six midway through after a three-point play, but another three from Barron brought the lead back to nine.
Staten Island never got closer than seven the rest of the way as Stevens got up by as much as 16 in the final minute en route to cruising to the victory.
