HOBOKEN, N J. (February 23, 2016) – The No. 25 Stevens Institute of Technology men's tennis team will battle its third nationally ranked opponent of the young season Wednesday when it hosts No. 31 Swarthmore College.

The action gets underway at 6:45 p.m. at the Binghamton Racquet Club in Weehawken. 

LAST TIME OUT
The Ducks went 2-1 last weekend at the Mary Washington Invitational with wins over No. 22 North Carolina Wesleyan College and Washington College, and a loss to No. 16 University of Mary Washington.

CONTINUING THE GRIND
Swarthmore be will the third of 11 matches the Ducks will face this season of teams currently ranked in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association top-40 poll.

BEN A GOOD START
Senior Ben Foran led the Ducks with five wins this weekend including two at singles and three at doubles. 

RISING ROOKIE
In addition to picking-up his first collegiate singles win Saturday, freshman Kyle Cenderelli won twice at doubles.

FAMILIAR FOE
Stevens snapped a three-match losing streak to Swarthmore last season with a 6-3 win. Wednesday's matchup will be the fifth in as seasons between the two.

POLL POSITION
Senior Matthew Heinrich is ranked No. 11 nationally at singles in the ITA top-50, while Heinrich/Foran is ranked No. 19 at doubles. Regionally, Heinrich is ranked No. 4, junior Charles Drake No. 23, sophomore Danny Polk No. 25, and Heinrich/Foran No. 5 at doubles.
