The Bailey tally started a 4-0 run for the Ducks, capped off by a man-up goal from Ferentini. Bailey would complete his hat-trick with 29 ticks left in the second, sending Stevens into the break up 8-3. After trading the first two goals of the third, Alfred scored three goals in just over two and a half minutes cutting the lead to 9-7.
Sophomore
Tommy Dawson ended the run and started a 4-0 spurt for the Ducks, that saw O'Shea and Ferentini add goals. After a Nick Skibitsky tally put the Saxons back down five, O'Shea completed his hat-trick with four second left in the frame to put the Ducks up six.
An illegal stick penalty on Alfred put the Ducks on a three minute man advantage to open the fourth, and the hosts took advantage. Freshman
Eric Radbourne opened the man-advantage scoring 35 seconds into the penalty, and Bailey added two more before the major ended. The 7-0 run by the Ducks broke the game wide open, as junior
Tim Leahey and sophomore
JP Southren added goals to close out the scoring.
Bailey had seven goals and four helpers, while Ferentini and O'Shea combined for seven goals and six assists. Junior
