HOBOKEN, N.J. (April 22, 2016) – The No. 21 Stevens Institute of Technology men's tennis team (11-7, 4-0), will travel to St. John Fisher College and Nazareth College Saturday for an Empire 8 Conference doubleheader.
WEEKEND INFO
The Ducks start the day at Fisher at 8:30 a.m., before traveling to Naz for a 2 p.m. match.
LAST TIME OUT
The Ducks dropped two of three at doubles against No. 27 Christopher Newport on April 16, but rebounded to take all six singles matches in a 7-2 win.
SCOUTING REPORT
Fisher enters the weekend 7-5 overall and 3-1 in the E8, and is led at singles by Kevin Kulawiec's six wins at No. 1. Naz (4-10) is 3-2 in conference and is led at singles by Lamar Hurt's five wins.
TRIPLE DIGITS
Senior
Matthew Heinrich enters the weekend two singles wins shy of 100 for his career. No player in the history of the program has ever hit the century mark.
HEATING UP
Sophomore
Danny Polk is riding a five-match win streak at singles following a three-match losing streak.
POLL POSITION

Ben Foran and Heinrich moved up to No. 3 regionally at doubles last week, while Heinrich and junior
Charles Drake came-in at No. 2 and No. 22 respectively at singles.
C-D PLAYER
Drake is second on the Ducks with eight singles wins this season, having won three of his last four. Each of Drake's singles matches have come from one of the top-three positions.
