HOBOKEN, N.J. (September 13, 2016) – The Stevens Institute of Technology field hockey team will put its three-game win streak to the test Wednesday when it travels to No. 10 Montclair St.

Game time is set for 7 p.m. at Sprague Field in Montclair. 

LAST TIME OUT
Stevens exploded for eight goals Sunday morning in an 8-1 win over Brockport. The win capped a winning weekend for the Ducks after a 4-0 victory over Houghton the previous day. 

SCOUTING REPORT
Montclair St. is off to a perfect 5-0 start in which it's allowed just four goals. Amber Haslett and Kaitlyn Struss have combined for 14 goals, while Kaitlin Maguire has 10 saves in the cage. 

RIVALRY RENEWED
Stevens and Montclair have met each of the last eight seasons where the Redhawks have come away with seven victories. 

HONORED
Senior Emily Stukenborg and junior Cassidy O'Hearn were named Empire 8 Conference defensive and offensive player of the week respectively Monday. O'Hearn leads the Ducks with eight points off three goals and two assists, while Stukenborg owns a 2.15 goals against average. 

BALANCED
Stevens' attack features 10 different goal scorers, including three who've recorded multiple scores. 

ALVAREZ ASSISTS
Known for her scoring prowess, junior Victoria Alvarez has been showing off her passing skills so far this season with a team-leading three assists. 

FIRE AWAY
Entering play on Tuesday, Stevens leads the E8 with 93 shots, 27 more than the next closest opponent.
