HOBOKEN, N.J. (September 30, 2016) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's soccer team will look to extend its three-match win streak Saturday when it hosts Elmira in Empire 8 play.

Match time is set for 4:30 p.m. at the De Baun Athletic Complex in Hoboken.

Seniors Patrick Masur and Jay Mikula each scored first-half goals Wednesday night in a 2-1 win over Widener. 

SCOUTING REPORT
Elmira Brings a 3-4-1 mark into the weekend including a 1-1-0 record against the Empire 8. Michael Bryant leads the team with five goals, while Haruka Okamoto has seen the bulk of time in net. 

INSIDE THE SERIES
Stevens is unbeaten in its last four matches against the Soaring Eagles, surrendering just one goal in the process. Last season's matchup ended in a 1-1 draw.

FOLLOW THE LEADER
Sparking Steven's recent win streak has been Masur, who's recorded seven points off three goals and an assist during the run. Masur leads the Ducks this season with four goals.

NEXT MAN UP
Freshman Mitko Bozinov played a solid 90 minutes in goal in his collegiate debut Wednesday night to earn his first career win.

WHERE THEY STAND
Stevens and Elmira enter the weekend in a tie for fourth place in the E8 with identical 1-1-0 records. Houghton and Ithaca are currently tied for first at 2-0-0.

Led by junior Patrick Boylan, Stevens owns the second best opponent scoring average mark in the E8.

HOME SWEET HOBOKEN
Stevens continued its superb play at home in Wednesday's 2-1 win, moving its record in Hoboken to 18-2-1 since 2014.
