Â
- After the Ducks fell behind 2-0 late in the first half, Skylar Migliaccio and Victoria Alvarez scored back-to-back unassisted goals to knot the game going into halftime

- Two minutes later, the Ducks closed the gap when Cassidy O'Hearn set up Victoria Alvarez to get back within one goal.
- With eight minutes to go in regulation, Janet Vill notched an unassisted goal to tie things up and help send the game to overtime
- Just 44 seconds into the extra period, Caitlin Jennings and Tanya Hatton connected for the game-winning golden goal to lift Houghton to the victory.
- Caitlin Jennings had two goals for the Highlanders in the game
- Nicole Jennings and Hannah Daniels were the other Houghton goal-scorers. Daniels also had a defensive save
- Stevens outshot their hosts 18-11 and earned 11 penalty corners to HC's three
"I'm proud of the way we came back in a deficit and Houghton played tough defense on the line'" said head coach
Meredith Spencer-Blaetz. "We had a couple opportunities stolen away that would have made the difference, but we continued to fight hard despite adversity."
Â
The Ducks will travel this evening and remain in Upstate New York to take on Nazareth College in Empire 8 action at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
