Alison Criswell tallied a team-high 10 points and senior
Megan Brown added eight points and six rebounds, but the Stevens Institute of Technology women's basketball team fell to Trinity College 66-42 in non-conference action Tuesday evening in Oosting Gymnasium.

Lily Taeuber each added seven points for the Ducks, who fell to 7-8. Stevens concluded non-conference play at 3-6; a two-game improvement over last season, where the program's non-league schedule ranked among the toughest in the country.
Erin Cunningham led all players with 19 points and Allie Morin came off the bench to score 12 points for the Bantams, who won their second straight to improve to 12-5. Trinity moved to 11-2 in non-conference play.
Turning Point
- The teams exchanged five misses to open the game.
- Peace Kabari opened the scoring with a pair of free throws.
- Courtney Erickson hit the first of two shots from the line to give Trinity a three-point lead.
- Kabari made a layup to push the lead to five before Stevens got on the board.
- Taeuber followed with a basket to put Stevens on the board.
- Trinity pushed its lead to seven points at the end of the first quarter and led the game wire-to-wire.
Inside the Numbers
- Tonight's matchup was the first-ever between the programs.
- Trinity outshot Stevens 43 percent to 27 percent.
- Trinity held the advantage in points off turnovers, second-chance points and bench points. The Ducks came ahead in points in the paint. The Bantams also outrebounded Stevens 49-31, including a 13-10 edge on the offensive.
- Neither team recorded a fast-break point.
- Stevens forced 18 turnovers, while Trinity forced 17. Criswell and freshman Christina Li each recorded a team-high three steals.
- Brown blocked a team-high two shots.
- Senior Sydney Darby pulled down a pair of offensive rebounds.
