HOBOKEN, N.J. (January 27, 2018) – Senior
Megan Brown recorded a season, and game-high, 21 points, but six Hartwick players reached double-digits as the Stevens Institute of Technology women's basketball team fell to the Hawks, 69-57, Saturday afternoon in Empire 8 Conference action at Canavan Arena.
Freshman
Maddi Hahn added 14 points on 6-of-8 shooting, but despite trimming a double-digit deficit to a single point in the fourth quarter, the Ducks dropped their third straight game to fall to 8-11 on the year and 5-5 in the Empire 8. The Ducks are 14-12 all-time against Hartwick.
Victoria Sacramone came off the bench to lead Hartwick with 14 points and freshman Mary Schoenherr recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. The Hawks won their second straight game to improve to 5-12 on the year and 4-4 in conference play.
