Stevens led 36-30 at halftime after holding Alfred to 1-12 shooting from behind the arc in the first period and 29 percent from the floor overall

Michael Zignorski tipped it in to put Stevens in the lead once more. The Ducks scored the next six points to take the win home.
Coach's Corner:
"We found a way to win on the road at a place that is always very tough to win," said head coach
Bobby Hurley. "We were extremely active on the defensive end and found ways to score. It was a great team win and after a long week, we're happy to be coming back to Hoboken."
Up next:
The Ducks will return home to host Utica College at 5 p.m. next Tuesday night in another Empire 8 matchup.
