Four Ducks Score to Send Men’s Soccer Past Elmira

HOBOKEN, N.J. (October 6, 2018)  – Four different Ducks found the back of the net as the Stevens Institute of Technology men's soccer team secured a 4-0 victory against Elmira in an Empire 8 conference matchup Saturday at the DeBaun Athletic Complex.

Senior Haddy Abdelhady was the first to put Stevens on the board after a cross pass from freshman Seth Onolaja. Senior Chris Cesario was the second Duck to find the back of the net after he headed in a pass from freshman Adam Silva. Less than a minute later, freshman Sean Masur received a pass inside the 18 yard box from sophomore Stephen Johnson and kicked it to the right of the goalie to find the back of the net to record his second career goal.

Freshman Jay Poskitt added an insurance goal for the Ducks, who improved to 11-1-1 overall and remain a perfect 4-0 in conference play.

Elmira's Giovanni Garufi and Andrew Angelone split time in goal, each making two stops. The Soaring Eagles fell to 2-10 on the year.
