Holtzman’s career day leads Men’s Soccer over York

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (September 16, 2018)  – Senior Brett Holtzman recorded the first two goals of his collegiate career to lead the Stevens Institute of Technology men's soccer team to a 5-1 victory over York (N.Y.) College Sunday in a non-conference fixture at the Aviator Sports Complex.

Freshmen Sean Masur and Matthew Pinho also netted their first career goals for the Ducks, who won their fifth straight match to move to 7-1. Rohan Burrell had the lone goal for the Cardinals, who fell to 1-5.

Junior Mitko Bozinov made one save to earn his second victory over the season. Junior Brendan Krupa relieved in the second half and made one save in his first game action since 2016.

Johan Bermeo made five saves for York, but suffered the loss. It was the first meeting between the teams since the first round of the 2009 NCAA Tournament.
