Box Score Ewing, N.J. (September 22, 2018) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's tennis team opened their fall season at the TCNJ Kickoff tournament today on TCNJ's tennis complex. The men's tennis team competed in doubles competition against Dickinson, The College of New Jersey, and New York University on the first day of the tournament.
In their first match up of the day, the Stevens men's tennis team put together a great performance against Dickinson by winning all the double flights. Freshman
Marc Feliu Gomez and sophomore
Mark Kanevsky won their first double flight of the year by score of 8-7. The match came down to a tiebreaker which was won by the Duck duo by a score of 7-3. The sophomore tandem of
Bryan Szayna and
Keegan Morris put together a nice performance and won by a score of 8-2. Also tasting victory were Sophomore
Gabriel Sifuentes and freshman
Mark-Jonathan Pabalan along with freshman duo
Garrett Kincaid and
Arjun Krishnan by scores of 8-5, 8-6, respectively.
The Ducks took on in-state rival TCNJ next in a very competitive match up with the teams splitting the double flights. Freshman

Bryan Szayna opened with a nice 8-3 win to get the Ducks going against TCNJ. Sophomore

Mark-Jonathan Pabalan were victorious for second time of the day, winning their flight by a score of 8-4.
In the final match of the day, the Stevens men's tennis team was pitted against cross river rival NYU. In another back and forth affair, the Ducks won two double flights to close out the day. Freshman

Bryan Szayna recorded their second doubles flight win of the day by a score of 8-5. Sophomore
Keegan Morris and
Mark Kanevsky finished their day on a high note by posting a solid 8-2 win.
