Hoboken, N.J. (September 29, 2018) – Stevens Institute of Technology women's tennis team defeated Hartwick College on Saturday 9-0 in an Empire 8 Conference match-up on Stevens Tennis Courts. The Ducks improve their record to 5-1 while the Hawks fall to 3-7 on the year and 2-4 in the conference.
Junior
Isabella Calandra and Freshman
Agatha Malinowski posted a solid 8-0 win in the No. 1 doubles flight. Senior
Julia Earl and Sophomore
Makenna Sargis were equally impressive, they did not drop a game and won 8-0 to put another point on the board for Ducks. There was a no contest in the third doubles flight which allowed the women's tennis team to take a 3-0 lead heading into the singles flights.

Alexis Fuda, and Malinowski all won their respective singles fliight to make it a clean sweep for the Ducks. This is the third time this season the women's tennis team posted a clean score sheet.
