HOBOKEN, N.J. (June 16, 2020)  – It's time for the next installment of "Meet The Duck Tuesday." This week, we caught up with Interim Head Women's Tennis Coach, Arik Zeevy.

A 2011 graduate of Stevens, Zeevy was named Interim Head Women's Tennis Coach on March 6 after returning for his second stint as an assistant for both the men's and women's tennis programs in 2018. He is the first sport-specific full-time head coach in program history.

Since returning two years ago, both the men's and women's programs have captured conference championships, while also earning a victory in the NCAA Tournament. The Empire 8 Conference Championship for the women's program in 2019 was the first in program history. After joining the MAC Freedom last July, the Ducks had a remarkable showing at the conference's individual championships, with the men sweeping all 11 titles and the women claiming four.

During his first stint on Castle Point, Zeevy helped guide the men's and women's programs to four very successful seasons, which resulted in multiple players earning Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-America recognition and four straight Empire 8 Men's Tennis championships. He was also recognized by the ITA as the National Assistant Coach of the Year in 2016.

As an undergraduate, Zeevy led Stevens to three second-round appearances in the NCAA Division III Championship and his singles (68) and doubles (66) win totals still rank among the program's all-time leaders. A four-time All-Empire 8 selection, Zeevy served as a captain for three seasons and represented Stevens at the National Student-Athlete Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida.
