Hoboken, N.J. – The Stevens Institute of Technology Department of Athletics hosted its Annual Golf Outing on Monday at Arcola Country Club in Paramus, New Jersey.
 
The milestone event welcomed nearly 120 golfers for a day of competition, fundraising, and camaraderie in support of Stevens Athletics. Participants and volunteers began the morning with breakfast before an 8 a.m. shotgun start. Throughout the round, golfers took part in 10 on-course contests with prizes ranging from gift cards to Stevens Athletics prize packs to a new putter for the winner of the putting contest.
 
Following play, attendees gathered for a barbecue lunch before Stevens President Nariman Farvardin and Assistant Vice President and Director of Athletics and Recreation Russell Rogers addressed the crowd, highlighting another successful year for Stevens Athletics and thanking those in attendance for their continued support. Longtime Voice of Stevens Athletics Drew Casey concluded the program by recognizing the winners of the on-course contests and announcing the top three finishing teams.
 
"We were thrilled to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Stevens Athletics Golf Outing on June 29," Rogers said. "The event not only serves as a vital fundraiser for the Department of Athletics, but, most importantly, brings together a diverse group of members of the Stevens community, including alumni, families, friends, coaches and staff, in support of our student-athletes. I am grateful to the team at Arcola Country Club for their outstanding partnership, as well as to our sponsors, golfers and volunteers whose generosity and commitment make this event possible. We are already looking forward to the 2027 Stevens Athletics Golf Outing!"
