ANNVILLE, Pa. (February 22, 2021) – First-year student-athlete Nick Boggiano of No. 11 Stevens Institute of Technology wrestling was named Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Wrestler of the Week Monday, the league office announced. 

The recognition is the first career weekly award for the Toms River, New Jersey native and the second straight for the wrestling program this season. 

Boggiano earned a pair of victories for the Ducks during the review period. First, Boggiano topped two-time national qualifier and eighth-ranked (by D3Wrestle) Robert Dinger of TCNJ by a 15-3 major decision and then against Messiah, Boggiano scored a 13-6 decision victory over Nick Barhart, who finished third at 149 in last year's MAC Championships.

Up Next: No. 11 Stevens returns to Canavan Arena for a dual against New Jersey City University Friday evening at 6 p.m. It will be the first meeting between the Hudson County schools as the Gothic Knights are in their first competitive season as a wrestling program.
