HOBOKEN, N.J. (April 1, 2021) – Starting Monday, April 5th and running through Sunday, April 11th the Stevens Department of Athletics in conjunction with the Stevens Athletics Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will be hosting several events in honor of NCAA Division III Week.

Division III Week is a positive opportunity for all individuals associated with Division III to observe and celebrate the impact of athletics and of student-athletes on the campus and surrounding community. During the week, every Division III school and conference office is encouraged to conduct a type of outreach activity that falls into one of three categories: academic accomplishment; athletic experience; or leadership/community service/campus involvement.

The Stevens SAAC social media pages (Instagram: @Stevens_SAAC, Twitter: @StevensSAAC) will kick off the week with an Appreciation Day of Stevens coaches and staff members who have helped contribute to their overall student-athlete experience.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the Ducks will sign the NCAA United as One Pledge to that show support for diversity and inclusion at Stevens and in the NCAA. To read more about the SAAC United as One initiative, click here.

Friday & Saturday, the Stevens SAAC social media pages will be giving you an exclusive look into the "Day in the Life of a Duck". Be sure to follow those social media pages to get a glance of what it is like to be a student-athlete at Stevens.

Throughout the entire week, Stevens will be participating in a food drive for the Hoboken Community Center Food Pantry and AngelaCARES, Inc. Items will be collected on campus inside the Schaefer Center. Items to be collected include coffee, sugar, cereal, juice, instant potatoes, marinara sauce, pasta, non-perishable foods, granola bars, snacks, etc.

Those who are not currently on campus can also participate in the food drive by donating food throughout the week to a donation box at H&S Giovanni's Restaurant & Pizzeria located on the corner of Sixth Street and Washington Street in Hoboken. Additionally, there will be a donation box set up at the entrance of Pier C in Hoboken on Tuesday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
