GLENSIDE, Pa. (April 10, 2021) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's tennis team dropped just five points on the afternoon en route to a 9-0 victory over Arcadia University Saturday in a MAC Freedom match played on the Weiss Courts.
With their third straight 9-0 victory, the Ducks moved to 3-0 on the season, while also earning their first MAC Freedom victory. Stevens is one of three undefeated teams in the conference. The victory extended the Ducks' conference regular season winning streak to seven. Arcadia fell to 0-3 on the year and to 0-1 in league play.
"Our guys did a great job today, taking care of business and securing a dominant conference win," said head coach
Steve Gachko. "We are looking forward to getting back to work Monday and preparing for more conference action ahead."

Aashi Kulakarni opened scoring with their second straight 8-0 victory at first doubles, defeating Johnathan and Josh Noble. The junior tandem of

Garrett Kincaid also collected their second straight 8-0 victory to give the Ducks an early 2-0 lead through two matches. First-year
Adam Borowczak and senior
Gabriel Sifuentes closed out the doubles sweep with an 8-1 win over Francis Tamesis and Luke Thatcher at second doubles.
Dropping just two points at doubles, the Ducks dropped just four points in singles play. Feliu extended the lead to four with a 6-2. 6-0 win over Josh Noble at second singles, with Sifuentes clinching the match (0 and 0) with a victory over Tamesis at third singles. Brian Li all posted decisive wins in their respective singles flights to close out the match.
Up Next: Men's Tennis welcomes Misericordia University to campus on Apr. 14 for a MAC Freedom matchup. The action gets underway at noon. It will be the first meeting between the programs.
