The Ducks won 4-0 for their fifth-straight shutout

HOBOKEN, N.J. (Oct. 11, 2022) – The No. 4 Stevens Institute of Technology men's soccer team defeated Delaware Valley by a score of 4-0 in a MAC Freedom matchup at home, Tuesday night. Graduate student Adam Silva tallied one goal and one assist and the Ducks remain unbeaten on the season with the victory.

Stevens did not wait long to take the lead in the opening half. Graduate student Leo Musacchia scored his first goal of the season in the 11th minute. It was an unassisted effort and the Ducks led 1-0. The next goal came just 11 minutes later. A throw in from junior Fritz Kabeiseman flicked off the head of Silva to the head of junior Jack Seitz who directed it into the back of the net to make the score 2-0. The score line held until the break and Stevens led by two at halftime.

The Ducks did not add to their lead until they were 30 minutes into the second half. Silva capitalized on a free kick opportunity to make the score 3-0. He fired the ball past the Aggies' goalkeeper and into the right side of the net in the 77th minute. The fourth and final goal came just five minutes later. Senior Sean Ryan played a through ball to junior Kevin Lochbihler who pushed it past a defender and found the back of the net to make the score 4-0.
