The Ducks finished the year with an unbeaten 14-0-2 record headed into postseason play

GLENSIDE, Pa. (Oct. 25, 2022) – The No. 4 Stevens Institute of Technology men's soccer team shutout Arcadia University by a score of 3-0 on the road in their final MAC Freedom matchup of the season, Tuesday night. Sophomore Emerico Vespucci totaled one goal and one assist in the victory.

The two sides were locked up in a 0-0 tie for majority of the first half. Then in the 41st minute, Vespucci broke through for the Ducks and was assisted by senior Sean Ryan to make the score 1-0. Stevens outshot the Knights 5-4 in the opening half and senior goalkeeper Justin Cross made one save as the team headed into halftime.

It did not take Stevens long to double their lead in the second half. Graduate student Adam Silva found the back of the net in the 52nd minute and Vespucci was credited with the assist to make the score 2-0. 17 minutes later, the Ducks put the game on ice.
