LILBURN, Ga. (December 6, 2022) – The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) released its fourth Division III Top-25 poll of the 2022-23 season Tuesday and the Stevens Institute of Technology women's basketball made its first-ever appearance, coming in at No. 25.
Stevens totaled 25 points to slot behind Messiah, who ranked 24th with 38 points. The Ducks have previously been ranked by D3Hoops.com in its Top 25 poll and have received votes in the WBCA poll, including this season, but the program is making its debut among the 25 ranked teams.
Stevens is off to a 7-1 start, including a perfect 2-0 mark in MAC Freedom play. The Ducks boast an average margin of victory of 14.5 points and rank second in the MAC Freedom in scoring (72.8 points per game) and first (46.8 per game) in rebounding.
