CENTER VALLEY, Pa. (April 12, 2022) – The Stevens Institute of Technology women's tennis team earned their second straight win on Tuesday, Apr. 12. They swept DeSales on the road by a score of 9-0 to improve to 4-4 overall and 2-0 in MAC Freedom play.

The Ducks won all three doubles matches convincingly and did not drop a single set in singles play, sweeping all six matches in straight sets.
"Today, our intention was to continue to work toward our individual goals on the court," seniors
Agatha Malinowski and
Alexis Fuda said. "I think each player did a great job of keeping an aggressive mindset, while implementing what we are each working on in practice."

Emma Eguia and junior
Juliette Marchisio also won 8-0.

Singles play went smoothly as Malinowski won from the first position (6-2, 6-3), Heaberlin won from the second spot (6-2, 6-2) and Fuda won at third (6-1, 6-1). Dona (6-1, 6-2), Equia (6-0, 6-2) and Marchisio (6-1, 6-2) also picked up wins at the fourth, fifth and sixth singles positions, respectively.

Up Next: Stevens has a quick turnaround and takes on conference opponent FDU-Florham tomorrow, Apr. 13. The match is set to start at 3 p.m. on the Stevens Tennis Courts.
