CENTER VALLEY, Pa. (April 13, 2022) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's tennis team defeated DeSales by a score of 8-1 in a MAC Freedom matchup Wednesday at DeSales' tennis complex.
Stevens improved to 7-4 overall and 4-0 in conference play with the victory and have won five straight. The Bulldogs fell to 6-3 overall and 2-1 in the conference. The Ducks have won all three all-time meetings between the programs.
The Ducks swept all three doubles matches to take an early 3-0 lead. Graduate student

Olof Persson won 8-3 in the first position, sophomore
Aashi Kulakarni and first-year
Sebastian Wroe won 8-3 in the second spot and first-year
Matt Luzzi and sophomore
Andrew He won 8-3 at third.
Stevens continued their success at singles, winning five out six matches with their lone loss coming from the sixth spot. Senior
Marc Feliu secured a 6-2, 6-1 victory from the first spot. Luzzi (6-0, 6-0) and junior
Philip Szkudlarski (6-1, 6-0) followed that up with victories at second and third singles, respectively.
The final two wins of the day came from He (6-0, 6-3) at fourth singles and senior
Eloi Pradier (6-1, 6-1) at fifth singles.
Up Next: The Ducks are back in action, Saturday, April 16. They travel to Ewing, N.J., for a non-conference matchup against rival TCNJ at 12:00 p.m.
