ANNVILLE, Pa. (January 23, 2023) – Senior Kyle Slendorn of No. 12 Stevens Institute of Technology wrestling was named Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Wrestler of the Week, the league office announced Monday. 

The award is Slendorn's second straight weekly award and brings his career total to three. The recognition is the third for Stevens Wrestling this season. 

Slendorn posted four bonus-point victories en route to capturing the 141-pound title at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships. Slendorn, ranked third by the National Wrestling Coaches Association, had three straight pins to reach the championship bout, where he then posted a 16-6 major decision over Alvernia's Avery Leonard to win his third MAC title. The three straight pins to advance through the 141-pound bracket pushed his consecutive fall streak to nine. The four victories improved Slendorn's season record to 19-2.
