ANNVILLE, Pa. (October 10, 2023) – Senior Meg Dion had a career high 14 kills, while senior Liz Patterson recorded a double-double with ten kills and ten digs, as the Stevens Institute of Technology women's volleyball team defeated Lebanon Valley College (LVC) 3-1 (19-25, 25-19, 25-22, 25-13) Tuesday night.
The Ducks (10-6, 4-0 MAC Freedom) find themselves on a three-match winning streak, which equals their longest streak of the year. Stevens is also still undefeated in conference play with just three matches remaining. The Flying Dutchmen (11-8, 3-1 MAC Freedom) suffered their first conference loss of the season and are now on a three-match losing streak. The Ducks improve to 4-1 all-time against LVC.

The Ducks would fight their way back and take a 16-15 lead after a kill from Dion put them up one. The Flying Dutchmen would recover, winning 10 of the last 13 points to take a 1-0 lead over the Ducks.

Sophomore Vivian Lisboa had two kills in the spurt. After LVC scored two in response, Stevens came back with three straight of their own to take a 12-6 lead. The teams would trade runs the rest of the way.
- With the Ducks trailing 9-6 in the third, the team scored nine of the next 11 points to hold a 15-11 lead. LVC would not go away easily though, using a 4-0 run down 17-14 to re-take the lead. Later with the Ducks up 23-22, they gained two points off of LVC attack errors to sneak away with the set and take a 2-1 lead.
