Men's Soccer Takes Down Delaware Valley 3-0

Andino scored twice while Berrocal added the third.

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (October 24, 2023) - Graduate Bruno Andino scored twice while junior Adam Berrocal tallied another as the Stevens Institute of Technology men's soccer team defeated Delaware Valley 3-0 Tuesday night in a MAC Freedom contest.

The Ducks (9-2-4, 5-0-1 MAC Freedom) remain undefeated all-time against the Aggies, having only conceded once in the five matchups. Stevens can finish no lower than the second in the MAC Freedom and can win the regular season and clinch the #1 seed in the playoffs with a win against Lebanon Valley this Saturday. The Aggies (3-9-4, 0-4-2 MAC Freedom) can no longer qualify for the MAC Freedom tournament.

Stevens dominated out of the gate and recorded a goal just 15 minutes in courtesy of Andino. Sophomore Brian Babovic assisted on the play. The Ducks continued to apply pressure as the visitors tallied ten shots in the first half from five different players. The Ducks would lead 1-0 at the break.

The Ducks continued their great play into the second half. Senior Fritz Kabeiseman hit the post in the 48th minute as the Ducks continued to apply pressure. In the 68th minute, Andino tallied his second of the game to double the Ducks' advantage. Five minutes later, Berrocal scored on an assist from senior Adam Cohen to seal the victory for the Ducks as they remain perfect in conference play.
