HOBOKEN, N.J. (October 28, 2023) - The Stevens Institute of Technology men's soccer team tied with Lebanon Valley 0-0 Saturday afternoon in the final MAC Freedom match of the regular season.

The Ducks (9-2-5, 5-0-2 MAC Freedom) share the regular season crown with Lebanon Valley (12-1-4, 5-0-2 MAC Freedom). With the draw, the Flying Dutchmen earn the #1 seed in the MAC Freedom tournament while the Ducks earn the #2 seed. Lebanon Valley will host #4 DeSales on Wednesday while Stevens hosts #3 Misericordia. The two teams could meet again next Saturday in the MAC Freedom championship.

Stevens had the better of the chances in the half as graduate Jameson Railey tested the Lebanon Valley keeper a few times in the first 15 minutes. Senior Fritz Kabeiseman also had an attempt stopped, as he was able to put a header on goal after a corner kick. The score remained 0-0 at the break.

The second half was played much better by Lebanon Valley and they hit the crossbar off of a corner just a few minutes into the second half. Graduate Justin Cross made a sprawling save in the 59th minute to keep things tied. The score would finish 0-0 as neither team was able to find the back of the net.
