Men's Soccer Plays Scoreless Draw with Misericordia

The Ducks remain unbeaten in MAC Freedom play.

DALLAS, Pa. (October 7, 2023) - The Stevens Institute of Technology men's soccer team tied Misericordia 0-0 Saturday afternoon.

The Ducks (5-2-3, 1-0-1 MAC Freedom) remain unbeaten in conference play. Misericordia (2-6-2, 0-1-1 MAC Freedom) earned their first point in conference play. The two teams have now tied in three of their five all-time meetings.

The shutout was the fifth of the season for the Ducks.

Stevens tried to get out in front early as they had two shots on target in the first 12 minutes. Both attempts were stopped. The rest of the action was neutral, as neither team recorded another shot on target for the rest of the half as the score remained tied 0-0 at the break.

The second half started off regularly quiet, but then it was Misericordia who had the best opportunity to score, forcing a team save from Stevens to keep the ball out of the back in the 67th minute. Stevens recorded another attempt on target in the 74th minute but was unable to score. The score would finish 0-0.
