The Ducks only lost one game on the afternoon.

GLENSIDE, Pa. (April 5, 2023) – No. 39 Stevens Institute of Technology men's tennis dropped just one game Wednesday in a MAC Freedom match against Arcadia University.

Junior Aashi Kulakarni, who was named the MAC Freedom Player of the Week on Monday, along with fellow classmate Andrew He joined first-years Max-William Kanz and Timothy Lau and sophomores Matt Luzzi and Vivek Harinarayan in winning a pair of singles matches for the Ducks, who improved to 6-6 on the year and to 3-0 in the MAC Freedom. The victories extended the Ducks' conference winning streak to 20.

Arcadia dropped to 1-4 on the year and to 0-3 in league play and have lost four straight matches.

The Ducks began the day by winning all three doubles flights in convincing fashion against Arcadia. Kulakarni teamed with sophomore Olaf Persson to score an 8-0 win over Jonathan Noble and Lee Conlu at first doubles. Harinarayan and Kanz extended the lead with another 8-0 triumph over Matthew Nagy and Brett Schneider on line two. He and Lau wrapped up the sweep with an 8-0 shutout of Ryan Salmon and David Cassel on line three.

The Ducks continued their strong play in singles, winning all six flights in straight sets. Five of the wins were shutouts, with Kulakarni, Harinarayan, Kanz, Luzzi and Lau all winning by 6-0, 6-0 decisions on lines one, two, four, five and six, respectively.
