ANNVILLE, Pa. (May 1, 2023) – Fifth-year Meg Halloran of the Stevens Institute of Technology softball team was named MAC Freedom Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday morning.

The accolade is the second career weekly award for the Oakland, New Jersey native and is the second for Stevens softball this season.

Halloran went 9-for-11 (.818) with seven runs, three stolen bases and nine RBI in an important 4-0 week for the Duck's. Halloran's most impressive performance came in a win over Delaware Valley on Wednesday when she went 2-for-3 with two home runs, three RBI, and a stolen base. The two homers were the first and second of her career.
