ROCHESTER, N.Y. (September 23, 2023) - The Stevens Institute of Technology men's soccer team played to a 0-0 draw Saturday night against the No. 7 ranked University of Rochester at Fauver Stadium.

The Ducks (3-1-3) earned their second straight draw and remain unbeaten in their last five games. After starting the season ranked number three, Stevens has a 0-1-1 record against ranked teams on the year with one more left on the regular season schedule (No. 20 Lebanon Valley). Rochester (5-0-2) are unbeaten in 2023. Stevens remains unbeaten against Rochester in the all-time series (1-0-1).

The two teams felt each other out early on as neither team posed a real threat in the first 15 minutes. In the 16th minute, sophomore Ethan Hagen recorded a shot on target but his attempt was stopped. Neither team was able to test either keeper the rest of the half as the score remained 0-0 at the break.

The second half provided more of the same as neither team had a shot on target for the first 20 minutes of action. Rochester tested graduate Justin Cross in the 71st minute but he rose to the occasion and made the stop. The Ducks had chances late to win the game, as sophomore and former Rochester player Ben Goldberg, along with graduate Bruno Andino, each had attempts stopped in the final minutes as the game finished nil-nil.

• The Ducks totalled 10 shots with three landing on target.
• Senior Dylan Maund led the team with four shots.
