Women's Cross Country Runs At Paul Short Run

Bethlehem, Pa. – The Stevens Institute of Technology women's cross country ran at the Paul Short Run on Saturday.

The Ducks placed 41st with 1,100 points in the 6,000-meter event, which Lehigh University hosted. Stevens ran in the White Race and the Open Race.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Isabella Gabay was the top scorer for Stevens, crossing the finish line in 23:51.9. Fionna Feerick was just behind her in 200th, notching a time of 23:55.8, while Kaitlyn Adams was the third Duck to finish. The sophomore clocked in at 24:29.7. Nina Burden registered a mark of 24:40.2, with Jacqueline Lulaj tallying a mark of 25:27.7.

Newcomer Madeline Bender was just behind Lulaj, finishing in 25:32. Samantha Rozek (26:21.5), Anya Sadowski (26:56.4), and Catherine Bondi (27:09) rounded out the competitors in the White Race. Stevens had a pair compete in the Open competition, with Kate Cen (27:13.6) and Gianna Adamo (28:47) crossing the finish line.

UP NEXT
After a week off, the Ducks head to South Jersey to run in the Rowan Border Battle on October 19.
