Wroe Wins Two Matches At TCNJ Doubles Invitational

Ewing, N.J. – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's team began their 2024-25 season at the TCNJ Doubles Invitational on Sunday afternoon.

No team scores were kept as the two teams played three rounds of doubles.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Tristan Wroe was a double winner on the day, notching wins in the Second and Third Round. Wroe teamed with Johnny Haase in the Second Round, claiming a 6-3 victory. He returned for the Third Round, winning 7-6 (7-5) with Samvid Andhare. The other Duck winner tandem was Max-William Kanz and Mihir Parcha, who claimed a 7-6 (7-4) decision in the Second Round.

"It was great to kick off some fall doubles competition with TCNJ and see our returners help our first year Ducks get acclimated to college tennis. We competed well and are excited to build upon today's lessons and keep growing together as a team." - Head Coach Steve Gachko.

UP NEXT
The Ducks will compete in the two-day Haverford/Swarthmore Invitational next weekend, as action on September 21 and 22 begins at 10 am.
