Men's Cross-Country Picked Fifth in MAC Pre-Championship Poll

NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conference released its pre-championship poll for this weekend's cross country championship race Wednesday and the Stevens Institute of Technology men's cross-country team was picked fifth in the poll conducted among the conference's 16 head coaches. 
 
The Ducks finished in the top five in the pre-championship rankings for the fourth straight year. Stevens amassed 168 points, 13 points behind DeSales and 13 points ahead of Widener. Lebanon Valley, the defending conference champions, was the unanimous favorite to repeat, earning all 15 first-place votes, 24 points better than Misericordia.
