Annville, Pa. – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's tennis team delivered a commanding performance on Saturday, sweeping Lebanon Valley College 7-0 in MAC Freedom play.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Ducks set the tone early by taking all three doubles matches. At the top of the lineup,
Aidan Miller and
Samvid Andhare earned a 6-3 victory over Jake Erb and Zach Schrader.
Matt Luzzi and
Tristan Wroe were dominant at No. 2, blanking Colin Brusse and Michael Schuetz 6-0. The No. 3 team of
Dhaivik Chenemilla and
Mihir Parcha matched that effort, shutting out Ethan Luu and Vincent Thompson 6-0.
Stevens carried its momentum into singles, where all six players won in straight sets. At No. 1, Miller turned in a strong performance, defeating Schrader 6-1, 6-4.
Noah Pe was equally impressive at No. 2, downing Erb 6-2, 6-1. Chenemilla continued his flawless day at No. 3, posting a 6-0, 6-0 shutout of Schuetz.
Olof Persson matched that scoreline at No. 4, cruising past Brusse 6-0, 6-0.
Johnny Haase secured a 6-2, 6-1 win over Luu at No. 5, and Wroe wrapped up the sweep at No. 6 with a 6-0, 6-2 victory against Jared Hostetter.
