BAYONNE, N.J.– The Stevens Institute of Technology women's tennis team wrapped a fourth straight unbeaten Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom campaign with a 7-0 win over King's on Sunday in the final match of the regular season.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Ducks took all three doubles matches –
Emma Eguia &
Milagros Carbajal Diaz winning 6-0 at No. 3,
Alix Dry &
Stephanie Untermeyer winning 6-1 at No. 1, and
Gigi Arenas &
Lorena Piegas winning 6-2 at No. 2.
Stevens (9-7, 6-0 MACF) was just as dominant on the singles side. Arenas did not drop a single game in her match at No. 6, Carbajal Diaz, Eguia, and Piegas all conceded a single game in their matches at No. 3, No. 4, & No. 5, and Dry & Untermeyer each won 6-1, 6-2 in their matches at No. 1 and No. 2.

The Ducks will host Arcadia in the MAC Freedom semifinals on Wednesday, April 30 with a 3:00 p.m. scheduled first serve.
